Kapolioka’ehukai Mission
To promote and perpetuate the sport of outrigger canoe paddling and the Pacific Island culture that surrounds it.
To strive to uphold a high moral character as a paddler and as a citizen of the community in which we live and play.
To fiercely compete with honor and courage on the water and express our aloha with one another on and off of the water.
To educate the importance of our environment and encourage others to do the same so that our future watermen and waterwomen will always have a place to learn and play.
To give back what we take, whether it be from the ocean (ke kai) or the land (aina).
To always honor the memory and legacy of Rell Kapolioka’ehukai Sunn and share our aloha with everyone we meet as she always did throughout her life.
To live our lives to the fullest every day with honor and the aloha spirit, no matter what obstacles in life try to overcome us.
Kapolioka’ehukai is a 501(3)c organization, registered with the State of California.
